5x10 Enclosed Trailer
Why Rent an Enclosed Trailer?
Enclosed trailers solve two major problems that open trailers simply can't: weather protection and security. When you rent one, rain, road debris, and theft become non-issues. This is the absolute right call when what you're hauling is valuable, fragile, or needs to stay completely dry. It's also the closest thing to a moving truck without actually having to rent an expensive moving truck—and it's significantly cheaper for most moves. Start your reservation process through our booking page.
Renting an enclosed trailer is one of the most popular alternatives to a U-Haul moving truck for local moves — see how our rates compare.
Choosing the Right Size
We provide two distinct sizes for different types of cargo. The 5x10 enclosed trailer holds up to 2,500 lbs and is perfect for smaller moves, transporting a few pieces of furniture, or keeping expensive tools secure on a job site. If you're tackling a full household move or need to transport large, valuable equipment, the massive 22ft enclosed trailer holds up to 7,500 lbs and offers the square footage you need to get the job done in fewer trips.
Towing Requirements
The 5x10 requires a standard 2-inch ball hitch and a brake controller, and can be pulled by most standard SUVs and trucks. The 22ft model is a substantial piece of equipment requiring a 2 5/16 inch ball hitch and a functioning brake controller in your towing vehicle to safely manage the heavy loads it's designed to carry.
