Trailer Rentals for Highland, IL Customers
Highland sits just across the Madison County line from Troy, and a lot of Highland residents make the quick drive over to pick up a rental trailer rather than dealing with the bigger rental counters. From property cleanups to moving day, KD Trailer Rentals keeps a full fleet ready at our lot on US Highway 40.
How Highland Homeowners and Contractors Use Our Trailers
Highland has a strong mix of residential neighborhoods and working farms, so the hauling needs run the gamut. Landscapers and homeowners hauling mulch, dirt, or rock lean on our hydraulic dump trailers to drop material where it's needed and tip the bed instead of unloading by hand. Families relocating in or out of Highland use our covered enclosed trailers to keep furniture and boxes out of the weather. Before you load up, it's worth checking our towing requirements article to confirm your truck is set up with the right hitch and brake controller.
Getting to Our Troy Lot From Highland
The trip from Highland to our lot at 407 E US Highway 40 in Troy runs about 15 to 20 minutes via IL-160 and US-40. It's a straight shot, which is why so many Highland customers rent from us for same-day projects. If you're weighing a trailer against a moving truck for a local move, our trailer versus moving truck comparison lays out the tradeoffs honestly.
Flat Rates and No Mileage Fees
Every trailer in our fleet rents by the day or the week with flat pricing and no mileage charges. That means you can drive the trailer wherever your project takes you without watching a meter add up. Highland customers regularly pick up in the morning, finish a same-day project, and return the trailer before the day is over. If you are weighing a dump trailer against a roll-off dumpster for a cleanup, our dump trailer versus dumpster breakdown lays out the real costs side by side.
